“Hunting”

Today I was able to design, draw and program a new usable item for the player. You can use this item to hunt for some sort of treasure (a weird sort of one). The next step was to create something to hunt for. Made a little prototype for trying the new item. It seemed fun, yay.

The design of this item made necessary to make the player avatar to face the direction of the last direction input, so I programmed a 4 direction facing. Luckily the sprite had 4 direction walking cycles, so I clicked together those fancy little walking animations. Now the player sprite walks, not just hovers in the moving direction. Immersion increased to level 9999.
