Today’s development showed me several things:
- Don’t use other’s crappy-crapp code.
- If you still use other’s crappy-crapp code, expect it to not work as intended.
Longer version: I used an “exotic” functionality(on-the-fly conditional expression evaluating) in the dialogue handling system and it’s not working as expected, because the writer of the code used a lame way to replace variables in soon to be evaluated string. He used the format() function of the string type, which pretty much handles everything correctly, except the Boolean. Of course, I tried to use it with Boolean.
Good news is, I wrote a cool dialogue. Yes, for the NPC from yesterday. Cool NPCs need cool dialogues.
